Just a few things I was reminded of last night at 11pm after a very long day….

1. Never say the words “I’m tired” in front of your creatures. They will test your patience. 😑😂

2. NEVER compliment or call a chicken your favorite. You will regret those words.

3. If you think your farm/coops are clean, think again and go clean another 20 minutes.

Last night one of my “favorites” somehow managed to kabob herself on the pitchfork that was somehow knocked over. We will save you from the gruesome photos 🫣

10+ stitches and some antibiotics later, we think she’s going to make a full recovery. ❤️

Today, we had the opportunity to take two of our Call Ducks to church to give the children a visual example of how God takes care of all His creatures. ❤️

We showed them how the water simply rolls right off their backs. God even gave them their own built in rain jackets!🌧️🦆

They even got a portrait drawn from one of the students!

Gates open at 9:30 and activities begin at 10!

We have so many fun activities, games, 14 vendors, 4 food vendors, a petting zoo and lots of fall decor!

A local friend of ours is selling some VERY nice birds!! I can transport to Clarksville/Nashville area or Frankfort the last week of October

What a pretty day it has been!! We have taken advantage of the day by moving chicks out to their new coop, trimming/clipping nails, figuring out who we want to possibly show this fall.. and fixing the silkies hair! 🤪
