It's really hard to believe that Rocky's '24 filly is now considered a yearling. Ember is full of s***k & is a quick learner. Rocky is the most fabulous mare with her foals. Well, Rocky has made it to February! We're within the "Safe" window to foal now. She's really progressing nicely with her bag. She's still eating good & isn't getting restless yet. We know that can change very quickly. Rocky has been a late afternoon foaled. So if you see me rush her into the stall in a panic, first say a prayer, then grab your popcorn & help us welcome a new little one.

The countdown is on! Rocky is Round & continuing to make progress with bagging. I've noticed her pelvic ligaments are starting to relax. When we talk to the baby, it gets very active 🥰. I love feeling baby bumps on Rocky's baby bump! She needs to wait at least 2 more weeks before introducing us to this bundle. Her last foal was 2 weeks late!

Rocky is another day closer to her due date. Today is day 319 / 342. Baby is still being active. I'm still thinking she looks good to make it closer to her due date. We're hoping for a Chocolate Palomino Filly on Valentines Day! We know that genetically that's a long shot but ... 1 John 5;14-15 ... it doesn't hurt to ask! 🥰

1/23 UPDATE:
🎈🎉Today is Rocky's 17th Birthday!🎉🎈
She's at day 315 and the baby is still active. So in around 3 weeks we'll be welcoming this foal to our world. We are so excited! This baby is Abby's graduation gift from PT School. She's ordered a Chocolate Palomino Filly. 😍
Rocky's bag is continually making small changes in size (more & less) which is normal for this stage of gestation.
We truly appreciate all the extra eyes helping watch Rocky.
