A New Leaf Farm

A New Leaf Farm Welcome to our little farm! Where we do all this mostly for the pure joy of it! We raise enough to keep us going with some extras along the way.

We raise light brahma chickens for free range eggs and Katahdin sheep for pasture management. A small scale farm.

Shout out to Dr. Thames, DMV!
He came out for a farm visit to do a flock assessment for the pregnant ewes in October. He worked on a sore foot for one of the ewes. Everyone had great body scores.
We are so thankful our winter lambing season is complete with all healthy lambs and ewes.
Looking forward to another great year. Thank you Dr. Thames!

It's been one whole year! Had my doubts since they enjoyed chasing the others animals and skinning chickens instead of protecting them. Then all of a sudden their instincts kicked in and now they are running with and guarding the sheep, chickens and turkeys unsupervised! Good boys!
