Happiest Solar return ! We love when the universe brings us special guest to host. Temi booked her birthday weekend with us, because she wanted to bring in her year in service. They say always leave a place better than when you came, and she did that💫💫💫 the joy on her face when she came and put her hands on the earth reminding her of her childhood years on her Grandfathers farm in Nigeria as a lot of the food was the same. As an appreciation for her big heart we sent her off with some Wai Mana Goodies. Homemade sweet treat with 100% ingredients from the land she put her hands into, and a jar of fresh Moringa powder, and honey from our land as well for a beautiful birthday Mask. Mahalo plenty and A Hui Hou🌺🧚🏾‍♀️💫🐝👩🏽‍🌾🌈

Starting this New Year with visiting Wai Mana ✨

We’re honored to gather in community and welcome Wilma Gaspili (Ate Wamz)—Indigenous traditional tattoo practitioner from the Cordillera—for an evening of remembrance, story, and return.

This is an intimate gathering to reconnect with Indigenous Filipino ancestry through the living spirit of batek—traditional tattooing where each pattern holds the wisdom, guidance, and memory of our ancestors. These markings are not decoration. They are lineage, land, and responsibility made visible.

Ate Wamz will share the hidden history of batek—its near disappearance, and the sacred work of bringing ancestral designs back into the present. Through years of research in museums and archives across the United States, she listens to what was left behind and restores what was almost lost. Her work is a spiritual act of remembrance, honoring the continuing life of Indigenous Filipino identity.

We’ll gather to listen, to share stories, to receive ancestral wisdom—and to break bread together with traditional Filipino food, grounding this experience in nourishment and community.

Come as you are. Come to remember.
Come to listen to what still lives within the patterns. 🌿

A momentary delay in “the system” reminded us of something - our true sustenance was never meant to come from a card.

It comes from the ʻāina.
From the hands that plant, harvest, and share.
From community that chooses sovereignty over scarcity.

Watching everyone rise, trade, grow, create, and nourish one another these past weeks has been such a reflection of resilience and a remembrance of who we really are.

We were born to live in rhythm with the land.
We were born to eat food that’s alive.
We were born to be free.

Grateful to live in a place where food sovereignty is not a concept, but an actualized prayer.

Abundance is everywhere when we return to the Source 🌱✨
