Wtf 😳 legbars ….. I am blown away from my TSC Legbars I get green olive brown and white from a blue egg laying chicken! I only added a handful when tsc had them for a dollar but now I need to crate each hen and see what she lays because any other color then blue is not okay in my legbar coop.

Since I only have 2 BCM roosters I decided to move my BBS marans and my hampbars under a different rooster. So now this coop will be pure BCM and I can’t wait for all the girls to start laying! (don’t mind the messy coop it’s part of owning chickens 🤣 and the weekend deep clean isn’t here yet!)

One year difference in eggs and the same day!! Left was last year getting some nice olives right is this year getting a lot more blues and some more dark chocolate colored eggs! This year not all my hens are laying I have a lot of grow outs still waiting to lay and this was only one day when last year I think it was 5 days worth of eggs!!!

A year ago today what a difference it is seeing. we had just finished a fence separating the pasture from the front there are no buildings.

now we have a huge chicken breeding coop a barn a goat kid pen/buck pen and a feed shed and the main chicken coop with a built in brooder room and chicken storage/feed room with all the incubators.
