This week's Wine Wednesday feature is our Tempranillo! Available as #3 on the Texas Wine Flight at The Rose of Aquitaine Tasting Tavern, this rustic, low tannin red will dance across your palate.

An enchanting light pomegranate color, the nose will bring you notes of caramel and a nod to port. Once the divinely delicate flavor hits, you’ll find hints of berry and a light pepper.

A perfect “sit, sip, savor” wine, we recommend pairing with tapas, charcuterie, good friends, and a warm fire. Come give it a try (along with our three previous Wine Wednesday features) at the Sherwood Forest Faire! Only two weekends left!

This week's Wine Wednesday brings us to the Amber Malvasia! This unique, warm colored wine is often called an "orange wine." It features a heavy honey/floral nose. Strong on the tongue, with notes of honey and nice minerality.

This week's feature for Wine Wednesday is our L'Artista!

Explosive flavor of juicy berry and plum, with a rounded acidity and full body, this wine has a beautiful, smooth finish. Truly unique in its flavor profile, one taster remarked that this wine is “just so fun!” This delicate red is quickly becoming a new favorite for many that have tried it.

You can have a sample of the L'Artista at The Rose of Aquitaine Tasting Tavern during the weekends of the Sherwood Forest Faire! Just ask for the Texas Flight (all four samples on this flight are Dolce Estivo wines!) or grab a glass to take with you while you enjoy the sights, sounds, and shopping at the faire. You can even get it in a beautiful souvenir glass!

And if a glass (or 4) on the weekends isn't enough, it's also available at the Hutto Wine Bar! If you're in that area, make sure to pop in and check out this fabulous, first of its kind bar in Hutto, Texas. This enchanting locale's owner, Meg, puts an emphasis on featuring women-owned/made wines! Open Wednesday-Sunday!

Happy Wine Wednesday! This week's featured wine is our Malvasia Bianca.

Dry with a mild acidity, this white features a floral, slightly smokey nose, with a hint of buttered toast. The long lasting flavor palette carries notes of herbs, orange blossom, jasmine, apricot, and white peach with a mild nutty melon on the finish. Best served chilled, and preferably enjoyed pool side!
