We have a You-Pick berry patch that currently includes blueberries, several types of thornless blackberries, gooseberries, currents, elderberries, and black raspberries. We are raising our two young kids on the farm (both of which are in year round sports) and we work full time jobs away from the farm. Thus, we don't have set hours. During berry season we try to post regular updates on our faceboo
k page (check back there often) regarding berries in season, quantities available and upcoming pick dates/times we will be open. . In addition to berries we often have berry bushes for sale as well as numerous different types of day lilies. Our boys have also started their own egg business so most days we should have farm fresh eggs for sale. One fun thing for the kids to see when they come pick is the farm animals. We currently have an assortment of chickens, ducks, geese, sheep and goats and will from time to time have those available for sale as well. For simplicity, we sell our berries by the gallon (rather than by the pound). Feel free to bring your own containers to pick in or transport your berries home in, but if you forget, no worries, we have gallon buckets designed for berries with holes in them for rinsing when you get home. We just charge 50 cents for them to help cover part of their cost. Of course we take cash and checks, but also are able to take debit/credit cards, Venmo and Paypal.
