I regret to announce that I will have to close operations early this season due to a partial roof collapse at my barn facility. I had plans to replace the header on this roof section after the season but the snow has changed things in that regard. I will likely remove and rebuild the shed entirely over the coming winter. Empire Evergreens is hiring seasonal employees to assist with tree harvesting. Duties include carrying trees to balers, operating machinery, sorting & stacking trees, and truck loading via elevators. 8am-4:30pm & 4pm-9:00pm shifts available both full and part-time. Paid overtime. Applicants must be able to lift 70lbs. Tasks are physically demanding in often cold and wet conditions. Job duration is 3-6 weeks depending on performance and scheduling. Harvest begins November 4th, 2019.

It's a winter wonderland here at Empire Evergreens! The drives are plowed out and we are open for business 9 to 5:30 daily.

Due to heavy freezing rain this morning (12/1/19), we are suspending choose & cut tree selection until conditions improve. We hope to resume normal operations once conditions warm and the rain changes over to just snow. We do not salt our gravel driveways because of potential damage to the surrounding trees so extreme caution is recommended for those looking for pre-cuts this morning. Be safe!

Thanks to everyone who came out and purchased trees from us this weekend! Between the rain and the crowds it was a tough go but we got through it without injury, accident, or calamity. Thanks for packing your patience as we did our best to get everyone taken care of in short order. New seedlings are already ordered for next year and cycle of life will continue! Bigger and better yet again...

Choose and cut prices range from 35 to 50 dollars and we shake, wrap and drill at no extra charge. We also carry beautiful poinsettias, wreaths and kissing balls to round out your holiday decoration.

We're on a roll this year...Our Balsam Fir claimed Grand Champion tree at the NYS Fair this year. Our Colorado Spruce earned a 2nd place finish and we claimed 3rd for our Canaan, Douglas, White Spruce and White Pine. Not bad for a first attempt at competition! Now we're gearing up for what we expect to be another tremendous Christmas sales season

Empire Evergreens is proud to announce that we have been chosen to host the New York State Christmas Tree Grower's Association summer convention. July 20th & 21st. Tree growers from throughout NY and PA will tour our farm to share best practices and attend seminars. This is a great opportunity to showcase our operation among fellow tree farmers in the Northeast!
