Some of you might have noticed a few different critters in our posts this year. We’ve been gently teased in the past about having the “wrong color” of cattle; if you own red or black angus, you’ve been here before! Well, we decided to attempt a compromise—sort of! 😉
The registered calf crop this year sports some black-red carrier calves, such as this guy from an Identity sired dam and the black-red carrier bull named Ideal. We have been really pleased with how these calves have hit the ground and grown, and can’t wait to see how they turn out as they mature. If these are something you may be interested in, keep us in mind! As always, feel free to reach out with any questions about these or other animals in the herd.
