Crawford County Deer Processing

As the year is dwindling down, I’d like to make a post letting yall know we could still use at least a dozen deer to fill our orders for people: we have a list of people who either don’t hunt or can’t hunt anymore who will take your deer as their own and pay for the processing on it. We fill so many of these orders each year thanks to our wonderful hunters!!! So if you have tags you’d like to fill but don’t need the meat, just bring it on in and say you’d like to donate it. There is no charge to the hunter unless it needs caped or field dressed. No deer will be turned away!!! We also donate over a thousand pounds of burger a year to the local food banks and soup kitchen!!
We are thankful for you in helping us make this possible!!!!

Closed for pickups today, but the after hours drop off system is available all day every day!!!
Back open for normal hours tomorrow 8-7 central time.

We arent at the deer shop today or tomorrow, but you can do the after hours drop off!! We can stop in and see if we have any here and there 🙂 Put deer under the awning like you normally would. Put one of our blue leg tags on back leg tendon. Write that number on tag spot on sheet on clipboard (clipboard is upside down so papers don’t get wet). Write your name and number on paper and we will call on Friday.
OR you can just make sure there’s a tag with your name and call us on Friday and we will add our tags and get all your info then 🙂

Hey guys! Lots of phone calls to ask us- but someone has started a rumor that we are full and not taking any deer! That’s only ever happened one time in over 50 years and we hope to never have it happen again!! Come on in, and go to the front end and get you a bowl of chilli while you’re here!!

I’ve been getting calls all morning! YES we are open! Normal hours, 8-8!
We appreciate those who serve and protect our country, keeping us safe and allowing our freedom.
Just a reminder, all Military and first responders receive a 10% discount- our way of saying THANK YOU!!!!!!!! Just remind us each time you drop off a deer and we will note it on your paper!!!

Watching someone as selfless and sweet as Angie spend three years in the woods with nothing to show for it, but still loving every minute of it and never giving up- makes my heart that much more happy to share these photos of not only her first buck, but her first deer ever!!!!
