The peonies are done, except for a few final bouquets lingering in my house as an end of season farewell. Now we are busy switching gears.

So the peony plants in the field are bloomless. (If that’s even a word!?) However, we dry store our peonies in the cooler. That means we don’t put them in water until we are ready to use them. Then we snip the ends, put them in water, and like magic they rehydrate. So, this is it! Saturday, June 27th between 11am and 1 pm grab some peonies before they are gone, because we can’t dry store them forever. The weather looks terrible, but don’t worry we will be set up in the barn, selling the peonies for half price, 2 for $5, to bring a little sunshine to your day! We can’t wait to share the last peonies of the season with you!

This is it… the final week of peonies. The field may look empty, but the cooler is not! So, swing by the farm this Saturday from 11-1 to stock up on peonies one last time this season. All peonies will be on sale, 2 for $5. How can you go wrong?

Peony season comes and goes in the blink of an eye! We still have peonies tucked away in the cooler, but the field no longer has blooms. So now we deadhead.

Tomorrow is the day! We are opening the peony field to the public from 11-3! Come walk the field, meet the goats, and purchase some peonies. Because of our goats, no animals are allowed. Take as many pictures as you like, but please refrain from bringing a professional photographer for photo shoots. We can’t wait to see you!
