Our Story

Located in Palisade Colorado, named one of the 2018 Top 10 Wine Getaways in the World by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. At St. Kathryn Cellars, flavors come alive to intrigue the imagination and delight the palate. Our sweeter-edged, highly flavorful wines can be enjoyed chilled, on-ice, anytime and for any occasion. We make wines to inspire and delight!

Our winemakers craft jewel-like bottles with a variety of fruits and botanicals. Our wines are unique, flavorful and authentically crafted to taste just like the fruit of origin. While it may cost us more, we choose to ferment the actual juice of the fruit. Owners Glenn and Natalie Foster have been involved in the Colorado wine business for more than 16 years. Due to growing up and working in northern California’s wine country, Glenn is a second generation winemaker whose father, Reed Foster Sr., co-founded and operated Sonoma’s Ravenswood Winery for 30 years. This foundation, along with a leap of faith to take part in Colorado’s burgeoning wine business in the 1990s, led to a successful career in winemaking for Glenn. A passion for falconry inspired Glenn to name his company Talon Wine Brands. Talon Wine Brands encompasses St. Kathryn Cellars and sister wineries Talon Winery and Meadery of the Rockies. Talon Wine Brands produces 40+ wines, employs 20 people in Palisade, and ships to 19 states.
