C & R Farms is family owned and operated orchard that is nestled below the Grand Mesa near the quite town of Palisade on the Western Slope of Colorado.

Fruit season is upon us ! Cherries , apricots & peaches are all ripening up beautifully. We will begin picking cherries this week , peaches and apricots shortly after! 🍑

It has been a beautiful early spring! We had our first frost night of the season. Thankful for the wind machines and everyone who was up last night keeping the fruit warm. 🍑 😊

Our amazing peach season will continue for at least 3 more weeks! We are finally picking Cresthaven's available at the shed now and our Farmers’ Markets stands this week! Make sure you stop by this weekend and grab some of these beautiful peaches! Our season isn't over yet, they are also great for canning/freezing it’s time to stock up for the winter!! As some of you may be aware we along with many other growers in the state experienced some very cold nights this April that saw the temperature go below what is considered the minimum during this critical point in spring. Unfortunately, this temperature drop did damage a large percentage of our crop. There will be limited availability of all our fruit especially our peaches periodically throughout the summer at the farmers markets we attend. WE WILL STILL BE AT THE FARMERS MARKETS!

Many of our other partners will still be active this season and are working hard to find Colorado grown product for you to purchase, so check in with them at the markets where you normally find our fruit. You can find more about them on our website here! https://www.candrfarms.com/locations-

Often when the trees have a time to rest versus focusing on creating fruit, it can make for an even better following season! 😉
