Fitness is a passion that I have had for about 12 years. I ran my first 5k at the prime old age of 40. 🎶✨ Vacation Mode: ON. Goals Mode: STILL ON. ✨🎶

Just got back from an incredible trip to Nashville for CMA Fest, and yes… I ate the hot chicken, enjoyed the cocktails, listened to amazing music, stayed out late, and soaked up every minute of it.

Here’s the thing: one vacation doesn’t undo months of consistency.

I didn’t come home feeling guilty or like I needed to “start over.” I came home with amazing memories, a full heart, and the same goals I had before I left.

The secret isn’t perfection—it’s consistency.

✔️ Walked as much as possible and danced too.
✔️ Enjoyed foods I love without stress
✔️ Had the cocktails
✔️ Got right back into my routine when I returned macros, gym and steps.

Health and fitness should fit into your life, not keep you from living it.

Vacations, celebrations, dinners out, and weekends away are all part of a balanced lifestyle. Learning how to enjoy them while still moving toward your goals is where the real magic happens.

Remember: Progress isn’t ruined by a few days of indulgence. It’s built by what you do consistently over months and years.

So travel. Eat the food. Drink the cocktail. Dance to the music. Walk the city. Make the memories.

Then come home and keep showing up.

💛 Consistency beats perfection every time.

Big news for Deelicious Musings 🍷☕️💪🏼

After months of studying, learning, tracking, and diving into the science of nutrition coaching, I’m excited to officially start sharing guidance on macro counting.

For so long, I thought healthy eating had to mean restriction, cutting out favorite foods, or living on salads. What I’ve learned is that nutrition can actually support your lifestyle your workouts, your energy, your travel, your coffee dates, your pasta nights, and yes… even wine 🍝🍷

Macros helped me:
• Build strength
• Fuel my workouts
• Understand balanced eating
• Feel more confident around food
• Create sustainable habits without obsession

Deelicious Musings has always been about enjoying life fully good food, movement, connection, travel, and wellness that feels realistic. Now I’m excited to help others learn how to fuel their bodies in a way that feels empowering instead of overwhelming.

If you’ve ever wondered:
✨ “How much protein should I eat?”
✨ “What are macros?”
✨ “Can I still eat pasta and reach my goals?”
✨ “How do I fuel for strength and energy?”

…I’d love to teach you. Just send me a DM with questions and how I can help you.

This is just the beginning, and I cannot wait to share more about macro education, meal ideas, and realistic wellness tips❤️

Coffee. Wine. Protein. Balance. Italy. Deelicious Musings. 🇮🇹☕️🍷

BIG announcement 🎉

After 20+
Chapters and lectures of coursework, studying, learning, and probably overanalyzing every macro on my plate… I officially completed my Science of Nutrition Coaching Certification! 🥂

This has been such an exciting challenge for me because nutrition has always been more than “healthy eating.” It’s fuel, balance, performance, confidence, enjoyment, and creating a lifestyle that actually feels sustainable.

And the best part?
Eventually I’ll be bringing macro coaching into the Deelicious Musings arena 🍝🥗💪

Think:
✨ realistic nutrition
✨ flexible macro coaching
✨ muscle-building support
✨ food freedom
✨ delicious meals that still fit your goals

Because I firmly believe you can love pasta, wine nights, brunch, AND still work toward feeling your absolute best.

What better time for a big announcement than my birthday?🎂

Here’s to growth, new adventures, and making nutrition feel approachable, empowering, and yes… still delicious.

Grapes 🍇 vs. Grains🌽 was one for the books 🍷🍺🍝

From Classic Tomato Bruschetta with Fresh Mozzarella to Beef Bolognese with Tagliatelle, Chicken Milanese, and a sweet Zabaglione with fresh berries… every course brought the competition and the creativity.

The best part? The scores were SO close we had TWO ties — both the antipasto and primo piatto between grapes and grains. The second plate gave homemade wine the victory, while grains took home the win for dolce.

Honestly, the real winner was everyone gathered around the table sharing food, pairings, laughs, and conversations.

Feeling extra lucky that I got these photos because this was one deliciously memorable night. 🍷✨🍺

Vintage Vixens: Emotional Support Beverages 🥂

The morning hot ☕️ Nespresso or just a coffee after the gym both in the cup — you know the one.

The evening sparkling water 💦 obsession that somehow feels glamorous.

The three-drink carry 🪇(coffee + water + protein shake) because we contain multitudes.

The after-dinner tea 🫖we’re pretending is healing us from the inside out.

The completely unnecessary weekend Prosecco! 🥂

Hydration? No, darling. This is identity. 🫆

You didn’t ruin your progress… you had dinner. 🍷🍸

Somewhere along the way, we started believing that living our life = falling off track.

Girls’ night? Off track
Celebration dinner? Off track.
Dessert 🧁?OFF. THE. RAILS.

Relax.

If your plan only works when life is boring… it’s not a plan, it’s a phase.

Here’s the truth no one wants to say out loud:
You don’t need to choose between your macros and your memories.

You need to learn how to hold both.

Because the goal isn’t to be “perfect” Monday–Thursday and then spiral Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The goal is to become the person who can enjoy the wine, the meal, the moment… and still show up the next day like nothing happened.

No guilt.
No punishment workouts.
No “I’ll start over Monday” drama.

Just consistency… with a side of real life.

Thank you to for the best celebration dinner for my SIL big promotion. We enjoyed everything the artichoke dip, shrimp cocktail and best of all the tomahawk steak with the most amazing vegetables. Yes we had dessert too shakes and fluffy creamy crème brûlée. 🍮 😋

That’s the Deelicious way. 💁🏼‍♀️✨

Just Got Back from the Moab Rotary Car Show — Worth It, But Bring Your Wallet! 💸🚗

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the 34th Annual Moab Rotary Car Show at Swanny City Park, and if you’re a car enthusiast, this event absolutely belongs on your bucket list.

Set against the stunning red rock backdrop of Moab, Utah, the show brought together hundreds of gleaming classics, customs, and vintage vehicles for a free, fun-filled day. The show typically draws between 250 and 400 vehicles from Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and beyond — and the variety did not disappoint.

Now, the real talk — Moab is EXPENSIVE. 😬

If you’re planning to attend next year, go in with eyes wide open. Motels in Moab during car show weekend are absolutely brutal on the wallet we’re talking $200–$400+ per night for nothing fancy at all. Book way in advance or because last-minute rooms will either be gone or cost a small fortune.

Food is no different. Whether you’re grabbing a burger at a sit-down restaurant or hitting a food truck, expect to pay tourist-town prices on everything. A basic lunch for two can easily run $40–$50. Budget accordingly and maybe pack some snacks and drinks to get you through the day at the park.

None of that takes away from what a genuinely great event this is the cars are spectacular, the community vibe is warm, and the setting in the Utah canyon country is unlike anything else. Just plan ahead financially and you’ll have an amazing time.

I was lucky enough to have a personal connection to a few incredible vehicles at the show this year. I had the opportunity to help transport a stunning 2007 Roush Mustang what an honor to be even a small part of getting that beauty to the show! Our friends also turned heads with their 1977 GMC Jimmy, which they took through a complete frame-off makeover the transformation was absolutely incredible and a true testament to the dedication car lovers put into their builds. And if there was one crowd-pleaser that stopped people in their tracks all day long, it was the 1997 Dodge Viper that thing drew in every age group from little kids to grandparents. Pure automotive magic.

Does the number on the scale ever feel like it has the power to decide your mood for the entire day?

You’re in a calorie deficit.
You’re showing up.
You’re doing the work.

…and then the scale doesn’t go down.

Suddenly your emotions go up.

Frustration.
Doubt.
“What am I doing wrong?”

Let me lovingly remind you:
The scale is a data point—not a judge, not a reflection of your effort, and definitely not your worth.

Fat loss doesn’t happen in a perfectly straight line. Your body is balancing hormones, holding water, recovering from workouts, and adapting in ways you can’t always see day to day.

Progress isn’t just measured in pounds.
It’s in:
✨ Energy levels
✨ Strength gains
✨ Better choices
✨ Consistency

If you zoom out, the trend tells the truth—not a single weigh-in.

So today, instead of letting the scale raise your emotions, let your actions ground you.

Stay the course.
Trust the process.
And remember… you are so much more than a number.

Last night at the Pink Moon Market in Palisade a fun time with friends✨🌸

The energy was everything—local vendors, beautiful people, and that small-town charm that just hits different. One of my favorite highlights was spending time with creating flower crowns. There’s just something about getting your hands in fresh blooms, slowing down, and letting creativity take over 🌿💐

From laughter to connection to a little sparkle of springtime renewal, it was one of those nights that fills your cup in the best way.
