The trucks are empty, and the Cunningham Peach family truck route is officially FINISHED for the 2026 season! 🚛🍑

We pray our family’s peach crop will bless your family today, and throughout the coming year. 🫶🏻

Thank you to every person who waited in line, bought a box of peaches, told a friend, shared our Facebook posts, traveled to meet our trucks, and welcomed our family into your communities. (Some of yall even rescued us when our trucks broke down! ❤️)

This harvest season has been one of the most difficult , with plenty of unforeseen curveballs! Between an unusually early harvest, extreme summer heat, lack of irrigation water, adjusting ripening dates, rescheduled truck stops, and a few cancellations, 2026 kept us on our toes. Through all of it, we were reminded just how blessed we are to have such loyal and understanding customers. Please pray for a healthy snowfall this winter season so that our ecosystem is able to recover from this devastating drought. 🙏

For our family, this isn’t just about selling peaches. 🍑 It’s about friendships, familiar faces, small towns, agriculture, and getting to share something our family has worked hard to grow with families all across Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas.

To our incredible crew and everyone behind the scenes who helped pick, pack, load, drive, unload, sell, and do it all over again day after day — THANK YOU! We couldn’t do it without you!

And most importantly, thank YOU, our customers, for another incredible year.

🚨Final Cunningham Peach Truck Towns of the 2026 Peach Harvest Season🚨

We have worked incredibly hard to make it to the end of this very challenging Peach season in Palisade, CO. Our final variety of peaches we grow and pick each year are called “O’ Henry Peaches” and they willing be rolling into Altus, Norman, & Edmond this week— August 27, 28, & 29th!

Along with our wonderful Peaches, Honey, Jams, & Peach Salsa, we will be bringing a couple of NEW items on our trucks—
👉Olathe Sweet Corn direct from Olathe, Colorado!
and
👉Watermelons from Hydro, Oklahoma

We're nearing the end of this super-early harvest! Check out the 3 remaining towns on the picture!

And if one of these towns is not a fit for you, click on the words "Shipped Peaches" at the top of the website and consider ordering our individual boxes of peaches delivered straight to your door. We don’t do this very often!

Peaches arrive in custom cushioned boxes of 12 or 24 count and make great gifts too. Deadline to order individual boxes is Sunday, August 23.

The Cunningham Peach Family would like to give a special shout-out to two amazing Western Oklahoma businesses! 🍑❤️

Last week, one of our older semi-trucks suffered a major mechanical failure on I-40 near Weatherford, Oklahoma. We’re incredibly thankful for the Lord’s protection over our crew and the other motorists around us when the incident happened. 🙏

Veteran Towing was a huge blessing! They responded quickly, got our truck rescued safely, and helped us through an overall pretty difficult situation. If you ever find yourself stranded in Western Oklahoma, these are good folks to have in your phone!

Motion Tire got us in quickly and went right to work getting the Cunningham Peach Truck in for repairs. Finding the right parts for an older semi isn’t always easy, but they went above and beyond to help us get everything repaired and rolling again.

🚨Hereford, TX and Woodward, OK🚨

Unfortunately we’re having to announce 2 more cancellations on our 2026 Cunningham Peach truck route — Hereford, TX (2nd trip) and Woodward, OK (2nd trip) are both canceled. 😢
We are so thankful we were able to visit both of these towns a few weeks ago. 🙏

This has been one of the most difficult peach seasons to project harvest dates in a very long time. These aren’t excuses but three major factors caused the 2026 Peach Truck schedule to have the most unexpected changes in the history of our farm:
1) Earliest Spring Bloom & Peach harvest EVER in the history of Palisade, CO.
2) Extreme heat caused daytime & nighttime temperatures to stay above average for an extended period of time.
3) Lack of snow melt in the Colorado River has left many in our town wondering “Where will the irrigation water come from next year?” Interestingly enough, the lack of snow melt has also change the water quality & mineral contents compared to ‘normal’ years.

🍑 8/5/26 Cunningham Peaches Update 🍑

If you’ve ever been involved in farming or agriculture, you’ll probably understand when we say…

“Well…what else can go wrong?” 😑

Our family knows that every season brings its own unique farming challenges. This year, it’s an unusually severe drought combined with record-breaking heat. Ironically, instead of making the peaches ripen faster, it has actually slowed the ripening process, forcing us to delay harvest on several orchards. The drought is so bad that we are seeing quite a few black bear visitors this year in our orchards! 😳

This delay in ripening means we’ve had to reschedule several truck loads and sell dates this week. We create our truck delivery schedule in early July, and normally have a really good timeline on our various types of peach harvest dates - But not this year.

We know that’s frustrating, and believe us—it frustrates us too. We never cancel or postpone unless we absolutely have to.

The good news is there are still plenty of beautiful peaches coming. We’d simply rather ask you to wait a few extra days than sell peaches that aren’t at their very best. That’s a promise we’ve tried to keep for over five decades.

Finally, we’d like to ask one small favor.

Our delivery trucks are all family members and hardworking employees who all want to deliver our wonderful peaches to as many of you as possible. We don’t make the weather, control how fast peaches ripen, or decide when a load is delayed. If we happen to sell out or have to reschedule your town, please remember we’re simply doing the best we can with the crop we’re given.

A kind word, a smile, and a little patience go a long way to brighten someone else’s day. ❤️
