🌱🍒 Cunningham Cherry Trees got an extra layer of protection this week! 🍒🌱

For the very first time on our farm, we wrapped sections of our cherry orchard with giant protective nets to help defend this year’s crop from wildlife.

Most people don’t realize how much effort goes into growing beautiful cherries before they ever make it to the truck or your kitchen table. These nets will help protect the cherries from hungry birds & deer.

The nets act like a giant shield around the trees so the cherries can stay safe while they finish ripening in the Colorado sunshine. It’s a big job, but after seeing one of the best cherry crops we’ve had in years, we knew it was worth the extra effort!

Every box of cherries represents months of pruning, watering, protecting, and caring for the orchard. We can’t wait to share this year’s harvest with all of you when the Cunningham Cherry Truck rolls into town next month! 🚚🍒

Cunningham Orchards is gearing up for a great harvest in 2026! The fruit trees are about 2 weeks earlier than normal (whatever normal is!) but that just means Cunningham Peaches will be to your town sooner rather then later! 😆

Final 5 Peach deliveries for the 2025 Cunningham Peach season are coming up the 1st week of September!

We have been on a journey of harvesting 13 different varieties of amazing peaches on our farm in Palisade, Colorado, and to wrap things up for 2025 we are picking our final variety of the season— called O’ Henry Peaches.
O’Henry peaches are a late-season favorite known for their beautiful coloring, firm skin, juicy sweetness, longevity, and great versatility—perfect for eating fresh, baking, or canning.

The ol’ Cunningham Family Peach Trucks have been making the miles for 4 full weeks of Peach Season!
Our truck drivers, farm workers, & delivery folks get to breathe a bit during the last week of August before we pick our final peach variety of the season— the O’Henry Peaches!! 🍑 🍑🍑🍑

We have 1 more week remaining Sept. 3rd thru the 7th with 5 deliveries scheduled around the OKC metro area.
