ONE OF A KIND- Vented Aluminum No Luck Charm w/Splatter Ano.

Many of you have been after this specific No Luck Charm for years, but being the only one of its kind, I kept it… until now.

No Luck Charms were created to be a minimal carry and a backup to a backup, or a primary “means” in a given situation. The shape of the No Luck Charm allows the user to deploy it from a pocket in ANY orientation that it lay, employ it over ANY finger, and reposition if needed. The rounded bottom coupled with the “hips” and finger insets ensure not only a secure, but anatomically comfortable grasp.

This NLC is precision machined out of 6061 Aluminum and sporting an industry standard 1” finger stall. The circumference of the finger stall and the outer body have been given a generous fillet (contouring) to remove any hotspots that would normally be encountered with products of this kind.

This NLC was the prototype for a small run of Vented Charms that were made circa 2021-22. If you’re familiar with CadLab Official’s work, you know that he does an artistic job at both machining and his Anodizing process.

As this was MY personal No Luck Charm, it has been carried (in a leather sleeve) occasionally (very, very rarely). Since this piece sees very little carry time, I am offering it up to ONE OF YOU; and it’s LIVE RIGHT NOW. Link in my bio.

How are we supposed to guide our kids through life when we’re still figuring it out ourselves?

I’ve thought about that quite a bit over the years.

Being a dad to five kids has taught me a LOT. Some lessons came from my own parents. Others I’ve learned the hard way, and there are plenty I’m STILL figuring out.

When we’re young, we don’t always appreciate the sacrifices our parents make. The long hours, tough decisions, and things they go without. Then one day, we’re in their shoes.

Between work, bills, school, sports, and everything else, it can feel like we’re being pulled in a hundred directions. We want to provide, protect, and teach our kids right from wrong. But we make mistakes. We lose patience. We wonder if we’re doing enough.

That’s what inspired these TRUE NORTH coins, available in DAD and MOM versions.

On the front: THE WEIGHT IS WORTH IT.

On the back, a compass rose with KEEP SHOWING UP. EVERY SINGLE DAY.

To me, true north represents the direction we’re trying to point our children toward. The values we believe in and the lessons we hope they’ll carry with them.

We won’t always stay on course ourselves. We’re human. But that doesn’t mean we stop trying to guide our kids in the right direction.

These aren’t about being perfect parents. They’re a reminder to keep learning, keep trying, and keep showing up.

I put a lot of thought into these, and I hope the message resonates with some of ya.

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY to MY BABY GIRL. I’m literally sitting here crying as I post this. I can barely see what I’m typing cause the tears won’t stop, but I’ll never forget the range of emotions that I’m feeling right now.
