Loaded Shrimp & Steak Fries 🍟🥩🍤🧀
Ingredients:
1 lb (450 g) frozen French fries
½ lb (225 g) sirloin steak, thinly sliced
½ lb (225 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
½ small onion, diced
½ bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Cajun or Creole seasoning
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp chopped green onions
Creamy Garlic Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp Cajun seasoning
Instructions:
Preheat oven or air fryer according to the French fry package directions. Cook the fries until extra crispy.
Season the steak and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear the steak for 2–4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes, until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Sauté the onion and bell pepper for 3–4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet and toss everything together.
Arrange the crispy fries on an oven-safe platter or baking sheet.
Scatter the steak and shrimp mixture over the fries.
Sprinkle generously with cheddar and Monterey Jack.
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Mix the creamy garlic sauce ingredients until smooth.
Drizzle the sauce over the loaded fries and finish with chopped green onions.
🔥 Crispy fries piled high with juicy steak, tender shrimp, peppers, onions, and gooey melted cheese, finished with a creamy Cajun-garlic drizzle!
Pro tip: Serve immediately—the fries are at their best while they're still crispy underneath all those delicious toppings.
