Made homemade 4-ingredient applesauce. ๐Ÿ

I want to talk about community because i was donated 20 lbs of apples that has made this apple sauce, a batch of my famous cinnamon apple butter (sold at The Porch Stand ๐Ÿ˜‰), and fun desserts! I wish I could tag her, but Irina, if youre seeing this, thank you so much and I hope you enjoyed the apple butter โค๏ธ

I also make homemade egg bites with local free-range chicken and duck eggs ๐Ÿณ Would you be interested if I shared recipes or made digital recipe cards? ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ๐Ÿฅฎ Let me know in the comments ๐Ÿฅฐ

New year, new menu! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿช

Let me reintroduce myself ๐Ÿฅฐ My name is Kaila, a local business owner, and a decade long homesteader. Iโ€™ve spent the last ten years growing my own food, working for FL farms, and learning about regenerative agriculture and sustainable living. Iโ€™ve lived in Flagler County my whole life and my goal is to bring our community together in ways that are frankly, severely lacking ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Itโ€™s always been my dream to homestead and share my goods with the community. Iโ€™m very excited to start this new endeavor that includes creating goods with love and from scratch! I incorporate homegrown ingredients like oregano and rosemary, that are raised without any chemicals ๐ŸŽ‰ and the fresh cut flowers thatโ€™ll come in spring! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒป

I originally started out selling plants and microgreens but even a homesteader can have a brown thumb and plants are just not sustainable year round, but I can promise fresh cut herbs and plant starts in the future just not all the time ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝโ˜บ๏ธ I then switched to gluten free baked goods as someone who has digestive issues and desperately needed a f*ckin cookie on occasion ๐Ÿ˜‚ But since I want to include everyone in my business and offerings, Iโ€™ve decided to do both gluten free and regular baked goods ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

Some things to know:

๐ŸŒฑ All of my canned goods are PRESSURE CANNED. This means, unopened, these products can last up to a year and a half, sometimes more! Once opened, use within two weeks.

๐ŸŒฑ All of my regular baked goods are made with organic flour.

๐ŸŒฑ If you want to stop by and not buy, you are welcome to! We leave out books, seeds, and cuttings for no cost to foster a sense of community. We encourage visitors to leave books, seeds, and cuttings too. Thank you for any donations ๐Ÿค

๐ŸŒฑ To foster even more community, we are built on a self-service honor system for payment. Donโ€™t worry! We have cameras and guard dogs. This is a tried and true system in more rural areas that I would love to see implemented in our area.

๐ŸŒฑ While things like infused herbal oils and fire cider have many claims to be medicinal, they do not supplement for medications and you should consult with your doctor first. These products are not FDA approved and if any negative side effects show up, stop using immediately.

Any questions? I canโ€™t wait to get to know each other better! ๐Ÿฅฐ Thanks for reading this far! If you made it here: what kind of workshops would you like to see in the future? Examples: beginner gardening, mushroom logs, raising chickens, canning and preserving.
