DNA testing on a fresh batch of is heading out tomorrow! 🤎

This process is time-consuming, but it allows our customers to confidently select the pullets or cockerels that best fit their needs. It also helps ensure our cockerels end up in homes where they are truly wanted and appreciated.

We only hatch from what we believe are the darkest, most beautiful eggs…those with rich color, stunning speckles, and gorgeous blooms. Every generation is carefully selected with the goal of producing quality birds and fascinating egg baskets for years to come.

What have I learned from building a custom deck for our duck pond?

Absolutely, under no circumstances, should you mirror the shape of the pond upside down… because apparently that makes it BACKWARDS. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

After a few head scratches, some colorful language, and a solid test of our marriage, we finally got the pond to fit! The good news? We aren’t divorced yet, and the project is still moving forward. 😅

Tomorrow she’ll be moved into the duck enclosure, get her legs attached, a fresh coat of paint, artificial grass for a non-slip surface, and a ramp fit for duck royalty. 🦆👑

Please Lord, continue to keep us sane through the rest of this project… and maybe give us a little extra patience while you’re at it. 🙏🏼😂

After a forever search I finally found the Starfruit Tree for me! Fwang Tung is known for being sweet with very low acidity 🤤 The best part about this particular tree is that it is graphed and has already started to flower!

At dinner tonight, Pinky, our Hereford gilt, is looking a little rounder! 😍 Over the last few days, her belly has suddenly started growing, and she’s finally looking pregnant. 🤞🏼🥰 We’re getting more excited with each day and hoping for a healthy litter in the weeks ahead! 🐖 🐽
