September is Su***de Prevention Month.

Sometimes the people carrying the heaviest things are the ones who have gotten really good at saying, “I’m fine.”

So check in, stay a little longer, ask again, and listen without trying to fix everything. Remind the people you love that their presence matters not because of what they do, what they accomplish, or what they give to others, but simply because they are here.

We may never fully know the battles someone is fighting behind closed doors. But we can make sure the people around us know they don’t have to fight them alone.

This month is about awareness, but the conversation can’t end when September does. Keep checking in. Keep making space for the hard conversations. Keep choosing kindness.

And if today feels impossible, please stay. There are people who want you here, even when your mind tells you otherwise.

Call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Have you seen this Kuuk bottle? Created exclusively for Huna Totem Corporation, this Kuuk bottle features a Tlingit design and is available at Icy Strait Point, bringing together Alaska glacial water, culture, and a shared commitment to taking care of the land.

With up to 300,000 bottles expected during the season, the switch to aluminum has the potential to eliminate an estimated 15,000 pounds of plastic.

Kuuk aluminum bottles are resealable and reusable, made to be refilled and brought along for whatever a day in Southeast Alaska has in store.

We’re proud to partner with Huna Totem and proud to see this bottle represent so much more than water.

Kuuk was honored to support the annual Remembrance Run this year.

Hosted by the Stevens family, the 50-mile journey honors survivors and descendants of the Stewart Indian School and other Indian boarding schools, while remembering the children who never came home. The route retraces the journey of Kutoven Stevens’ great-grandfather, (Togo) Frank Quinn, who escaped Stewart Indian School in the early 1900s and ran home to the Yerington Paiute Tribal Reservation.

The Remembrance Run is about more than the miles. It’s about remembering those who came before, creating space for healing, celebrating the culture that endured, and bringing people together through understanding and connection.

As Ku says, “This is not just about running, it’s about healing.”

We’re incredibly grateful to have supported this year’s journey and everyone who helped carry its purpose forward.

The sun is out in Alaska, and that’s all the excuse you need.

Grab a KUUK, grab a friend, and get outside. Hit the trails, head to the lake, take the long way home or whatever gets you out enjoying these summer days while we’ve got them.

Alaska sunshine is too good to waste.

Another successful Music on the Farm!

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, donated, and helped make this event possible. The support from our community continues to be incredible, and it makes a real difference for Kids Kupboard and their mission to provide lunches to kids across the Valley.

Every donation, every person who shows up, and every bit of support helps Kids Kupboard continue making sure local kids have access to the meals they need. We’re so grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another.

Thank you for making another Music on the Farm one to remember!
