There's no wrong way to eat a peanut butter cup, but we all know the pumpkin shaped ones just hit different.

We packed this smoothie stout with peanut butter chocolate candy for a rich, chocolatey, ridiculously peanut buttery treat. Basically, we took everything you love about a peanut butter cup and turned it into an 8% b**r. Consider it our contribution to your Halloween candy haul. 🎃

The b**rs you'll be drinking next year? We're already working on them. 🌿

James recently made his way up north for a pretty exciting first for Corporate Ladder: our very first hop selection!

And yes, a good portion of the trip involved smelling hops. A LOT of hops.
But here's what makes that so important: even hops of the same variety can have surprisingly different aroma profiles depending on the lot. One batch of Citra might lean heavily into bright citrus, while another might have more tropical or stone fruit characteristics.

Getting to evaluate those differences firsthand means we're not just choosing which hops go into our b**rs. We're hand-selecting the specific lots that best match the flavors and aromas we want to create.

Our selections? Citra, Mosaic, and Citra Cryo. Three hop products we're pretty excited to work with, each bringing something different to the table.

These selections will help shape our hoppy b**rs throughout 2026 and 2027, and we're already looking forward to seeing how they come to life in the brewhouse.
