🇺🇸 Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching and we’re ready for all your grilling needs! 🇺🇸

We are loaded with the juiciest hamburgers (4oz, 6oz, and 8oz), beef franks, all kinds of steaks, roasts, and other items like chipsteak.

All our beef is raised right on our farm and processed locally for a truly local and very high quality, trusted eating experience!💯

This week on the farm things have really gotten busy!

-We have sweet corn popping up! 🌽
-More cow corn has been planted
-Made a trip to the butcher to drop off some more cattle and bring home some more great looking beef! 🥩
-Cut down our rye that is planted in the fall as a cover crop but also serves as feed for the cattle. We will chop this all and get it stored next week for feed for the year before we finish up planting the rest of our corn.
-Stocked back up on that dry roasted cow manure for all you gardeners! Great fertilizer for gardens, flower beds, yards and more!

Grilling season has returned and we’ve been gearing up and are ready with lots of our juicy burgers and delicious steaks!

Thought this was a good video of just SOME of the costs to raising a beef calf for freezer beef. While these costs vary from farm to farm there are also LOTS more costs to consider that weren’t accounted for such as LABOR, fuel, equipment, storage, electric, ect!

Producing beef is EXPENSIVE and the return is minimal. We love being able to provide such a great farm fresh, high quality product to the community. Paying the premium for the quality and knowing where your food is coming from while supporting local families is worth it and is VERY much appreciated!!

New data shows that farmers’ share of the money consumers spend on food continues to shrink, even as expenses rise. The latest Market Intel from Farm Bureau economists shows that in 2024 farmers and ranchers received a combined 5.8 cents of every food dollar after accounting for expenses, down from 5.9 cents in 2023. 📰 https://bit.ly/4rQJ5zU
