Hi, I’m Sydney and I figured I should probably introduce the face behind Notch Creek .
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up around cattle and still have a special place in my heart for Herefords. Lately around here, if it has fur, hooves, or a little too much personality... I’m in.
I share life with my partner and best friend Matt, who’s spent the last four years cheering me on through every wild idea, business pivot, and “I have another plan” moment.
I’m currently working toward my Agricultural Business degree through the University of Mount Olive while balancing a full-time career and building Notch Creek in all the in-between moments.
Notch Creek has become a little bit of everything I love. PEMF therapy, equine massage, pet and farm sitting, helping families protect their pets through pet insurance, livestock, and all things animal care. At the center of all of it is one thing: helping people love their animals well, and small rescues in any way I can possible.
One thing I’m especially passionate about is holistic support for animals. I truly believe in therapies like PEMF and massage, but I’ll always say this…I’m not a replacement for your veterinarian. Your vet is the bread and butter of animal care. I’m here to work alongside them, not instead of them.
The last year or so brought some tough seasons and a lot of perspective. Turns out four weeks at home and a little forced slowing down will make you think about some things. I’ll always be a dreamer with big ideas, but this season I’m focusing less on chasing the next thing and more on building the brand right where it’s at.. I’m learning to water what I’ve already planted these days. Wether it be this business or the actual plants in my yard 🌵
So thank you for being here, supporting this little business, and cheering on all the big and small dreams along the way.
