Did you know you can actually hear corn growing? 🌽

On a still, warm summer night, corn can grow so fast, sometimes over an inch a day, that you can hear it: little pops and creaks and rustles as the stalks stretch and the leaves unfurl. Folks used to say you could sit in the field at night and listen to it happen.

Ours has been putting on serious growth this week.
