We fell in love with the small town charm of Palmyra and bought a cozy home featuring an old fashioned front porch that spans the entire length of the house. When the weather is good, we spend many hours on that porch, visiting with guests and neighbors passing by. Friends and family have come to view our front porch as a destination. ical activity is part of our daily routine, and nutritional foods are included in every meal. We also love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. When we noticed how difficult it is to find foods, especially cereals, that do not contain corn or corn products, we decided to come up with our own, and the seeds for Front Porch Fare were planted. We lovingly tinkered with our recipe until it was just right, and created a crunchy, delicious granola that is exceptional in taste, contains no added preservatives and, per our original goal, does not contain corn products. We know what’s in it and we know it’s nutritious and wide-open wholesome. Periodically, we would give our cereal to family and friends as a special gift. In short time, those same people were raving about it and asking for more. We realized that we had a wonderful product to share with the world. From the time we decided to market our granola, all of the pieces fell into place. As the original idea was born in the kitchen of the home we love, and because we have given away so many delicious bags of granola to friends and family from the comfort of our front porch, it was a natural decision to call our company, Front Porch Fare.
