2026 Moose Processing Prices

Non-reservation moose: $1,000 flat rate fee

Cape fee: $300
•Cape fee must be paid at removal.
•Cape must be taken with you upon arrival.

Moose Processing Details
•No calves — no exceptions.
•No sausage.

Burger options:
•With beef fat added
•Plain burger

Cuts offered:
•Stew meat
•Roasts
•Steaks
Steak cuts available from ¼-inch to 1-inch thickness.

2026 Deer Processing Prices

•Standard deer: $200 flat rate
Price includes lambs.
•Patch bucks and up (200 lb+): $250

What's New for 2026
Due to high volume:

•We will not be weighing deer.
•We no longer offer stew meat.
•No sausage.
•No pork added to burger or any other products.
•Steaks will be cut only at ¼-inch or ½-inch thickness.
•Caping fee: $100 cash due upon arrival
If the cape is removed before bringing the deer in, please use a Jet Sled or tarp for transport.
•Maximum of 2 roasts per deer.

We now only offer our standard processing package:

•Whole tenderloins
•Backstraps
•Top round
•Bottom round
•Eye of round
•Sirloin tip (roast or burger only)
•Burger with beef fat or plain

The 2026 Maine Moose Permit Lottery is now OPEN! 🫎
Add these important dates to your moose hunting calendar:

📆 Lottery applications will be accepted online only until May 18, 2026 at 11:59pm (ET).

📆 The 2026 moose permit lottery drawing will take place Saturday, June 20 in Acton, Maine. Lottery results will be posted online by 6:00 pm the same day. Plan your trip at me2026mooseloto.com.

📆 Hunters who receive a permit in the lottery must purchase their permit online by July 17, 2026 (available 3-4 days after lottery results are announced).
