Edgewood Eats

Edgewood Eats Edgewood Eats is a Palo Alto meet-up of gourmet food trucks serving up all manner of street food. Click the "info" tab to learn more.

We're bringing life, fun, and great eats to Edgewood Plaza in Palo Alto. A one time mobile dining extravaganza at the First Congregational Church in Palo Alto at which dinner trucks serve up an awesome variety of made-to-order gourmet street food. Each month, we direct a portion of truck proceeds to a different charitable organization. Come for the food, stay for the fun (bring your picnic blanket

s, beach chairs, camping tables)...or just take your dinners home. Intersection of Embarcadero Rd and Louis Road. Trucks that are interested and fabulous should post a message to this FB page, and I will respond as quickly as I can. You must have a valid Santa Clara County health dept. permit; be experienced with several large events; be able to provide (and have staff to frequently empty) industrial-size trash and recycling bins; put up a canopy outside your truck for customers waiting in the rain; and, in lieu of a fee, donate at least 5% of your EE sales to our monthly charity.

We are very disappointed to announce that, due to city restrictions and complaints from a few vocal neighbors, Edgewood Eats cannot recur at the First Congregational Church. We are on hold indefinitely, folks.

03/18/2013

As always, trucks participating in Edgewood Eats donate a portion of their proceeds to charity in lieu of an event fee.

The charity with whom we're partnering tonight is Interfaith Partners in Caring at Stanford Hospital, which mobilizes community volunteers and pairs them with isolated elderly and chronically ill patients.
