Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled warehouse worker/driver (class A CDL required) to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating heavy equipment, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, and out of state delivery driving (we deliver throughout the Midwest). The ideal candidate will have experience in semi delivery driving, warehouse operations, possess mechanical knowledge, and be capable of handling heavy lifting and materials handling tasks. A valid driver’s license and experience with warehouse operations are essential for this position. The warehouse worker/driver will play a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse distribution and order fulfillment operations.
Duties
Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks to move materials safely within the warehouse.
Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods during shipping & receiving processes.
Assist with order picking, packing, and order fulfillment to meet customer demands promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Drive company vehicles for deliveries or pickups while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, and materials handling.
Valid driver’s license (class A CDL required) with a clean driving record; experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) regularly throughout the shift.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Must be 18+
Have a class A CDL
Experience in semi delivery driving
