I am also part of the Lincoln County Food Producers Co-Op. We have a Farmer's Market twice a week. We are also working on getting a grant to open a food hub center/farm to table restaurant. Good things to come!

Sold out of Maddie's Mad Sauce (an Asian hot sauce) and my Balsamic Vinaigrette this weekend. Don't worry though, more on the way. We will also be working on selling a spice rub and another sauce for Labor Day Weekend.

We average 8 inches of precipitation a year. We hadn't had rain in 2 1/2 to 3 months. The rains in a two big rains and a few squalls in a three day period was about 5 1/2 inches, well over half of the expected precipitation per year

They such sap out of leaves and produce something called 'honeydew' which ants harvest.'

shadows thrown from a tree onto white paper during the solar eclipse. We were in the at its height. It occurred at around 6:30 pm, so the shadows were long.
