Our Panama City store has closed for the day due to Hurricane Isaias. We hope to be open tomorrow morning. Stay safe out there everyone!

HURRICANE CLOSURE UPDATE — HALF HITCH TACKLE

Our Destin and Navarre locations are closed so our employees have time to prepare and secure their homes and families ahead of the hurricane.

We will reopen once power and water have been restored if we lose them and, most importantly, our employees have had an opportunity to assess any storm damage and make sure their families and properties are safe.

Our employees and their families come first. Always.

We are hopeful that wind shear will weaken the hurricane before landfall and that everyone in its path comes through safely with minimal damage.

NOW, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE BRIGHT SIDE!

Once the storm passes and conditions are safe, we could be looking at some outstanding fishing for the final two weeks of the Destin Fishing Rodeo — Destin, Florida!

Our hope is that the hurricane pushes nutrient-rich, blue offshore water into our local fishing grounds, bringing baitfish and hungry predators along with it.

If that happens, we could be in for one heck of a fishing shootout to finish the Rodeo!

The final two weeks of the Destin Fishing Rodeo could get VERY interesting!

But first things first. Let’s get through this storm, take care of our families, help our neighbors, and get our community back on its feet.

Stay safe, everyone. Boats and tackle can be replaced. Lives cannot.
