“Revival House is for the Children” has been one of our catchphrases since we opened. As many of you know, there’s typically always kids running around playing in the shop. Now is our time to truly mean it. 🤍
Some of our family has been dealt a hand that no one deserves. Their precious 5 year old son Misha has been fighting an eye infection that turned out to actually be a mass behind his eye that has now been diagnosed as a rare form of cancer. Luckily, Misha is a tough little guy who has the most amazing parents Rodney and Yuliya, his 3 big brothers, a huge village of family and friends that adore him, and a team of doctors at Shands to help him fight this. He has already had a port placed and received his first chemo treatment yesterday with many rounds to go.
What can you do? You can still support their business by purchasing from us at the shop, as they will no longer be able to sell at the farmer’s markets for the foreseeable future. ALL PROCEEDS FOR COASTAL FUNGI PURCHASES WILL GO DIRECTLY BACK TO THE FAMILY.
You can also donate to their GoFundMe to help with loss of work, travel back and forth to Shands in Gainesville, and expenses that accrue during these upcoming months.
