We have eggs! Our extra eggs are available here at our homestead. Supplies are limited.
If you were to know anything about us, you should know that Ethan and I value real food with the highest nutritional content we can possibly create, with as little chemical or synthetic disturbance as possible. We go to great lengths to ensure this. Ethan and I have dedicated the past two years of our lives here in Oklahoma to making that dream a reality on our property and learning as much as we can about stewarding the land for sustenance, organically and sustainably. Now, we’re beginning to take that mission one step further with the hope to share good food and inspire others to do the same.
Because of this vision, we've decided to start making our extra eggs available to our community. The funds from our eggs go solely to offsetting our feed costs. We simply want to share, inspire and empower others. Our beloved hens are fed only organic layer feed, daily greens from our pesticide/herbicide free garden, and kitchen scraps from our home-cooked meals. They’re very happy chickens! Our little flock consists of nine Silver Laced Wyandotte hens who lay medium to large light brown eggs.
When you purchase our eggs, they come washed and ready to eat, packaged neatly in a recycled egg carton. In our experience, our eggs are also very easy to peel when hard-boiled (let us know if you want to know our secret!).
Please contact us if you’re interested in picking up a dozen or two, we can be reached here on Facebook, on Instagram, or at [email protected].
We are located southeast of Guthrie!
Our current pricing: $6 a dozen or 2 for $10!
We also love a good trade. We're always interested in the following items: pesticide/herbicide free straw, heirloom seeds, lumber, pine shavings, canning supplies, tools, etc. or maybe you have something else we might be interested in. Please reach out!
And last but certainly not least…
If you’re even remotely interested in starting your own backyard flock, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have! We have acquired a plethora of resources and knowledge during our own research that we'd love to share with you. Our goal is to encourage you to eat REAL food and to get as close to your food source as possible. Chickens are extremely easy, inexpensive, and incredibly entertaining. A flock can be as little as three laying hens. That’s up to three eggs a day added to your fridge for very little work. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re an open book and just want to share!
Thank you for your support!
