In my mind, Jesus is on the cross by now. Escorted through the streets to the whipping post. Flogged, scorned, spit on and mocked. Carrying his own cross with the crown of thorns pushed into his head. Those thorns cause rashes, pain, swelling and necrosis. 6 hours hanging on a cross to suffer as long as possible.
Taking curses of the ground, Eve in the garden, sin of man. Everything you could think of. And still the people of the time did not get it. They knew that the things he was doing could only be done by God. They knew he was said to come and still were too stupid and high and mighty to see it. They even put Moses above him.
Flash forward to today. Idiocy and satanic worship fills our world. You know why? You know why Satan and his minions are so scared. Do you know why the socalled "leaders" of the world are acting so fast? It's because they know. They know the resurrection was true. Satan knows that Jesus is alive and coming soon. He is controlling all the disbelievers he can. Taking them to hell with him.
Whether you say he rose on Sunday or not. I can tell you he did. I can tell you the HOLY Spirit is alive and well. I can tell you that it feels like being struck by lightning when you receive the HOLY Ghost. I can tell you there is no sweeter conversation than tongues to the one true God. I can tell you how good it feels to lay hands on the sick. I can tell you all he has done for me. But, until you yourself surrender your life and place it in the hands of one that loves you so much. You can never understand the power that is within you through God.
Please today as we celebrate the greatest weekend ever in the history of the world. Make Jesus your savior. Ask God to save your life. Give your soul to God before it's too late.
Satan tells many many lies. But the greatest one is that we all have plenty of time.

So like... Yesterday I was amazed. I always have so many things going. Making sure jobs are completed, payroll is made, cows are fed etc. With the work force such as it is. I have been sweating getting some help on a big shop we are building. As usual, Iiiiii... Let it get the best of me and started worrying. You can't hire anyone these days that will show up, much less work. Unless you let them stand around va**ng and texting.
So Jeff and I start putting insulation and metal on a 40*50 shop with 16' sidewalls. Then the wind starts blowing. And after two four hours we had two whole sheets on. I looked at Jeff and did something I have never done. I said: Jeff, we can't do it. We need help. I have to tell the homeowner it'll be a day or two. I got on the phone, started calling people. No one to help. So we went to eat lunch. When we got to order, I asked if the lady knew anyone needing a job. She said no. I turned to walk to my table and a man immediately made eye contact and said do you have any work? I was shocked and laughing both at the same time.
You see, I had to quit and get out of the way so God could do his thing. His timing wasn't what I wanted. I think he wanted me to prove to myself that inspite of myself, I cannot do everything and require help.
The man came right after lunch and worked out great. He is a vet to boot. Great work ethic and had my respect at I've been in war.
Jesus came into my life at age 9. I didn't know what to do with it until I was way older. The holy Spirit led me to a church that led me to a ministry that led me to a jail that led folks to Christ. All in his timing not mine.
I have been as bad as bad can get without drugs or alcohol. Yet God still favors and uses me. So now it is time for me to act on my promises to be a better Christian and love the way I should. It feels good to be on time

Not a bad day at the auction

So , I wrote this post last week on my friend's page Daily Bread. It talked about Paul's side, how strong thorns are, how they were in Jesus head as he carried the cross and the pain he felt.
But, today I want to talk about the what it took to do that and how it pertains to us.
Jesus was God on earth in the form of man to show us how to live. Some say he came, he lived, he died so what. Others say thank you daily. But, what did Jesus do daily that we do? He woke up tired some days. He had to cook breakfast. He laughed at jokes. He hugged you when you were crying. He swept the floor.
I said all that to say this. Even tho Jesus had his job to do on the cross he still had to live. We as the human race have to live as well as raise kids. We want them to be good and do well just as God wants us to do well. They have free will just as we do. Our job is to teach them about the end goal of living like Jesus did and serving the living God. In doing so, we are like Jesus. We live our day to day, all while knowing our end goal and doing whatever it takes to get there.
