Hey friends! 👋💙 It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, and life has shifted in some pretty big ways, so I wanted to share an update.
When this page started in 2020 as Five Feather Farm, we were overflowing with birds, goats, pigs, and all kinds of farm chaos. Over time, my life has undergone a huge pivot. My focus has shifted toward my long-term dream of working in veterinary medicine, and the farm has gotten a lot smaller and simpler to accommodate this new focus.
We’re down to about 20 chickens, 1 turkey, 1 pig, and 2 goats now… we’ve somehow ended up with 8 dogs (yes, really 😂) and still have our 4 horses, which have truly become the heart of everything I do.
With that shift, I’ve launched a new passion project: Strategic Equine.
It’s where I’m focusing my energy now, on creating simple, beautifully designed tools for horse owners, including health record sheets, rehab trackers, first aid guides, and more. I’m also currently pursuing certifications in equine massage therapy and rehabilitation as I continue exploring the path toward vet school.
