Had to stop by and see our friends while delivering a few eggs and some flowers. Couldn't catch a pic of .the.boston with Naaya because they're just too fast. But Kimi sure knows how to make Naaya smile 😁💛🐾.

I love when website and flower friends collide, like and . When I'm not in the garden I'm working on websites and social with for these rad local businesses.

If you are in CB def check out the new Zero Gravity Chair at Creek Side Spa, you really can hear the creek while entering another world of relaxation. Plus they have a whole team of talented massage therapists and a line up of amazing skin care and facials. This weekend you can see those rudbeckia in their new reception area and get a facial!

Handlebar has the new shop open right next to the skate park, with winter gear on sale at the elk ave location. Win-win.

One of the best sunsets ever to end a day of spring work in the garden. I have so much gratitude for this space and land and all the people who have made it what it is.

🍑Years ago these fields were a peach orchard, on land that was homesteaded and kept in one family for any generations, in an area that was once inhabited by the Utes, who cared for and used this area to live and survive. The history is deep.

🦋These days the fields provided hay to animals, nectar to bees, and a home to beneficial and endangered insects. The soil health is solid from decades of loving care, and the beauty of what is underground in Paonia.

💩🌱This space allows me to tend the garden with inputs sourced from the farm. Sustainability is a buzz word these days, but I do my best to practice how I conceptualize the idea of sustainability, by using as local as possible, minimally bringing in external inputs. Creating on farm compost, using what I have available, reducing waste, these are little ways I can control and help my impact in the floral and agriculture industry. Both of which are wild and dirty and scary on a global level.☣️

👩🏼‍🌾💐As the world goes by and does it's thing in cities and countries, good and bad, I have the privilege and opportunity to make my little part of the world a better place with care for the land, tending flowers that spread joy and happiness, growing herbs that heal, and continuing a tradition of farming in a community that, for the most, part holds agriculture near and dear.💚

🙏🏼Without those that came before me and folks who have lent hands and muscles and knowledge along the way I wouldn't be able to do what I do. Without my clients who trust in and support my work with flowers I would not be able to continue this important work that is a labor of love and passion. Thank you for choosing local, for choosing Dew Lily, for supporting a small family farm.

🇺🇸The freedom, lessons, and opportunity of this land is noteworthy and I don't take it for granted.
