PSA: The tasting room inside Paonia Books is closed today, Saturday, 10.11. We'll be pouring out delicious cider at Big B's hard cider festival from 1-5. Who cares about the weather? If we can risk severe anaphylaxis to press these beautiful Anjou and Harrow Sweet pears, you can brave a little rain. The tasting today will be inside a nice dry tent and there'll be 9 local cider companies represented. Stop on by and chat us up about all things apple, pears, apricots, cherries, currants, and jujubes.

PSA. Our tasting room and sales room inside Paonia Books will be closed tomorrow, 7/17, Saturday. I'm off on a quick trip to see kids and grand kids. See you all in a week.
We picked these white currants last week, washed and froze them, and they'll find their way into a cider in 2026. Thanks to Matt at Gray Owl Garden for these amazing currants.
