Pint Nine Brewing Co. Production Brewery with a Tap Room Our story begins in 2005 with our head brewer & founder – Jimi Watson – getting a Mr Beer kit for Christmas from his wife.

Within 6 months, he knew what he wanted to do with his life. He began prepping to head out to UC Davis Master Brewer’s Program. He graduated in 2009 and began his trek between Upstream West, Empyrean, & finally Upstream downtown. He began working on a business plan in June of 2013. Four years later, he opened Pint Nine Brewing Company. Named for the all of the great beers he drank before the rise of American craft – English, German & Belgian beers that all came in a half liter, or 16.9 ounces. The phrase “Pint Nine” stuck.

Our October Pints For A Purpose Partner is Project Pink'd — From the moment of diagnosis through end of life, Project Pink'd, Inc. provides tools, resources and a strong network to strengthen and renew the mind, body and spirit of breast cancer survivors in Nebraska and Western lowa.

We donate a portion of Tap Room proceeds to this important cause, every Wednesday, all month long.

Get your tickets for our Neill Family Spaghetti Feed! All money raised from lunch, bake sale & raffles will go directly to support the Neill Family during this difficult time. Kayla is 26 weeks pregnant and her daughter Oaklynn Rose has HLHS - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. This means she has one side of the heart underdeveloped and is unable to properly pump blood to the body. It also means that when she is born, she will undergo 4 open heart surgeries within the first few years of her life. Let's come together & support them as they focus on their family. Medical bills & expenses are already adding up & it will be a long road for the family! Please reach out if you'd like to donate to the family directly or if you have a raffle prize to donate!
