Thursday thoughts;
Has anybody considered forming a disabled community?!
I once had a dream to buy some land and form a little intentional community. Obviously by the word intentional community means there would be a purpose of it. Back in the day I thought that purpose would be living close to nature and off the land kind of a hippie throwback if you will.
Well fast forward and add a couple autoimmune conditions later and I'm thinking the same thoughts only something that's barrier free and built around people with physical and possibly even mental disabilities where we could come together to help each other out. This is what woke me up out of my 3 hours of sleep it's been on my mind a lot lately as I realize I'm not getting any younger. Some of us would only have the alternative of going to traditional nursing home and I don't think that's where it's at. I've put down many ideas on a page that I had formed on Facebook but I think with a little tweaking it could actually become a reality if anybody is truly interested. Also when you factor in that lot of us are unlimited income basically being social security disability I think there may be a special crowd in this group that I'm talking to. If anybody actually has a true interest in this I would like to get together and wrap with you and come up with an idea and how it could be possible. I know we're in a pandemic yet so it's not like we could get out and break ground tomorrow or buy property even but we could at least put pen to paper. My grandfather was an entrepreneur my dad has been his own boss most of his life and I've had this dream for good 10 years plus just came to me that now it might be an idea for people with our disease and similar conditions to think about buying some land and living together even if a handful of us do it. So feel free to private message me and perhaps we can make this crazy crazy dream a reality in due time.

So I've seriously decided that dur to my disabilities and the fact that I have been pursuing a homestead lifestyle for over a decade that a mobile lifestyle is what will work. Perhaps travelling to and interning at homesteads to my abilities. Still that s missing is a travel partner. I plan on purchase a small bus or big van and custom convert into an RV. A) Would any ladies 30-45 be interested in this endeavor?
B. Has anybody done something similar?

So. I'm quite considering the idea of "mobile Pair O'Dice Machers Farm come spring is in a Skoolie. A pull behind tiny home or some alternative to buying land. Perhaps Pair O'Dice Machers Farm can start mobile and find its home or homes along the way. Now WHO would be interested in THIS type of idea?
