Ingredients
๐ 1 block tofu
๐ 1/2 tbsp green onion, chopped
๐ 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
๐ 1 tbsp red pepper powder
๐ 3 tbsp soy sauce
๐ 1 tbsp cooking w**e
๐ 1/2 tbsp sugar
๐ 1 tbsp sesame oil
๐ Cooking oil, as needed
๐ Salt, a pinch
๐ Water, as needed
Instructions
1๏ธโฃ Cut the tofu into your preferred size and shape.
2๏ธโฃ Pat away any excess water with a kitchen towel, then sprinkle with a pinch of salt. This helps firm up the tofu and gives it a good base seasoning.
3๏ธโฃ Mix together the green onion, minced garlic, red pepper powder, soy sauce, cooking w**e, sugar, and sesame oil to make the seasoning sauce.
4๏ธโฃ Heat a pan and add a little more cooking oil than usual. Cook the tofu until golden brown on both sides.
5๏ธโฃ Spoon the seasoning sauce over each piece of tofu.
6๏ธโฃ Pour the remaining sauce over the tofu. Add water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
7๏ธโฃ Cook over medium heat, using a spoon to scoop the sauce over the tofu so everything gets nicely coated and seasoned.
8๏ธโฃ Done!! Serve it with rice, noodles, eggs, or whatever youโre craving! ๐คค
