These are two rooster we would like to rehome. They are both friendly, they won’t come up to you but they are not aggressive to us at all.
One is a buff orphington and we just want to find him a good home.
The other is a porcelain Bantam and he does have a small rehoming fee. He is an adorable little guy.

We just have too many rooster for our poor gals and need to downsize.

Farm fresh eggs for sale!

This is Cameron. He is quite the little entrepreneur! He is our chicken caretaker on the farm. He has partnered with a couple of investors (😜) to sell his chicken eggs.

After securing an intitial investment of a coop, chickens and supplies, he is now responsible for taking care of all things chicken related. He feeds them every morning, lets them out to free range, makes sure the waterer is full and clean, and makes sure they get put up at night.

With the money he earns, he budgets to buy more chicken feed and sets a little aside for spending money. The only thing his investors get is a couple dozen eggs a week. All money from the sale of eggs go to him.

He would love to earn your business so if you interested in some eggs just let us know and we can work something out for a meet up in Paris or possibly Murray.

It’s been a long while since I’ve posted on here, but we are still alive and kickin!

Homesteading has changed for us over the past year, we’ve been focusing on simplifying our homestead and self sustainability.

The past couple of days we have been harvesting honey from our bees! It’s very sticky work 😂

SarahRose, our novice beekeeper, set up at the local library with other local stores and businesses to teach about backyard beekeeping

We harvested from 2 supers, that’s about 8 frames of honey. We got a total of 45 lbs of honey! That was enough to fill 35 pint size mason jars. We then melted down the wax to be used for other homemade remedies.
