Leaves are changing colors, fall is in the air, and The Little Bears are here for it all! 🍂🍁

Whether it's baking apple pies, picking pumpkins, exploring fall festivals, or finding a cozy reading nook, Bitty Bears, Little Bears, and Bit Bigger Bears are ready for the adventure!

This morning, The Bears explored Stepping Stone Farm! They picked pumpkins, measured their growth at the wooden height sign, found the perfect apples, and checked out the vintage red truck. Several Halloween and Fall Bears even found a cozy spot to watch the action while they wait for a buddy to take them home. 🎃🍎

A few of our duck ambassadors are getting ready to go to Sunshine Day at the Bourbon County Fair!

First stop: Sadler Vet And Embryo Services PLLC for a health certificate.

This evening they will all get baths and pedicures.

Tomorrow off to the fairgrounds to represent their breeds and spread a little sunshine as they make new friends.

Sunshine Day is one of our favorite days of the year! Individuals with disabilities including sensory issues and their families are invited to enjoy a day at the fair. The bright lights are turned off, the noise is reduced and other accommodations are made to make the fair accessible for everyone.

There is a special Sunshine goat class show, and this year there will be ducks to interact with! We are excited for the goat show tonight and Sunshine Day tomorrow!

Roots and Branches Farm had a special delivery! Our home is full of sweet cheeps, splashes of water, and lots of cuddles.

Every single hatch brings a unique mix of intense excitement, anxiety, and ultimate hope. This hatch was certainly no exception, but the reward of seeing these rare babies make their way into the world makes every single suspenseful moment in lockdown completely worth it.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome our newest arrivals: Aylesbury, Golden Cascade, and Miniature Golden Cascade ducklings!

Because these breeds are so rare, each successful hatch is a huge victory for conservation. They aren't just adorable new faces on the farm—they represent real hope for preserving these incredible breeds for the future.

This is how you grow baby lambs, right? 🐑 Our garden is full of little wool poofs!

Actually, we’re growing strawberries! 🍓 The new shoots are getting stronger every day, but with temps threatening to dip below freezing tonight, they needed a little protection.

Enter: sheep's wool. It works as a fantastic natural mulch and insulation. Each little plant got its own warm blanket, thanks to our sheep. 🐑
