Mopar Muscle Club of Tennessee MMCT is an incorporated non-profit club dedicated to the restoration, preservation and enjoyment of vehicles produced by the Chrysler Corporation.

Here is a way back Wednesday to around 1985. JC and I on our way to Gulfport Dragway to an NHRA points race. We were in my old 78 Dodge ramp truck. The race car was my 72 Duster that I had purchased from my now brother in-law Cliff Hubbard. While Cliff had the car it was very well known in the street scene around the Memphis area. In this pic it would have had a 440 with a tunnel ram and two 750 Holleys a 727 with a JVX transbrake a Dana 60 with ladder bars. I don’t remember a lot of details about the race other than we ran a perfect 9.900 winning a TRW Grand Nine Perfect Award for that run and getting a belt buckle for doing that. I still have that belt buckle.
