Hattaway Farms is a small sport horse breeding operation in Waxhaw, NC. We strive to breed hunters and jumpers with exceptional talent and bloodlines. Our focus is primarily on Hanoverian, Westphalian, and Oldenburg lineages. We believe in quality over quantity concerning the horses produced here. Our horses are bred to be top performers in the show ring and have tempermants suited for an amateur rider.

⭐️ American Buffalo ⭐️ 10 yr old, 16.3 hand, RRP eligible gelding

Get noticed in the show ring with this tall, dark, and handsome gelding! Someone is going to be so lucky to have this guy! He just came off the track after 57 starts and has retired sound. Cold, clean legs all around! His racing connections took excellent care of him. He has great manners and is super sweet and cuddly. I think he would be an excellent hunter or dressage prospect.

Video is from today. First ever ride off the track and with a jumping saddle. He was a dream! No drugs, no turnout, and still in race plates. Rider is 5’10.

Paper Tiger HF - 2016 Pablo x Argentinus x Landgraf

“Hobbes” has about 30 days undersaddle now and we couldn’t be happier with how she is developing. Her dam sold this past winter to South Korea for their jumper breeding program. This filly has the brains, movement, temperament, and athleticism to be a really talented young horse.

Hobbes is not for sale at this time as we are keeping her for our breeding program.
