2026! These ladies were among the last visitors Sunday, August 16. They came despite the brief thunderstorm that afternoon.
We’re switching to you-pick mode before fall hours begin mid-September. We’ve got fall zinnias, celosia, dahlias, and, globe amaranth, and a few sunflowers that will bloom later in rows (no field). No admission fee and all flowers are in the same area.

🌻 All of the rain has had two effects this week:

1) The ground is soft but not very muddy.
2) The fall flowers-zinnias, celosia, gomphrena —have grown tremendously and can be included in bouquets! We’ve also picked dahlias to be included as well. 💐

We’re open today, Saturday, August 15, from 10 am to 6 pm, and tomorrow, Sunday August 16, from noon to 6 pm. This is the delayed sunflower field that’s in bloom.

🌻Our third and final sunflower field is beginning to bloom! We’ll have some evening hours this week and we’ll be open next weekend for you-pick flowers as well. The dahlias are also starting to bloom! We continue to have fresh-picked flowers available at the farm store. Thank you to those who have stopped by!

Our second sunflower maze field is no longer in bloom, and the third and last one isn’t opening yet, as you can see in the photo. June’s rain delayed the planting, so we have a gap between fields. For that reason, we are TEMPORARILY CLOSED. We anticipate that it will be in bloom the weekend of August 14-16.

💐In the meantime, we have set up buckets of late bloomers we have picked. These will be available at the farm store if anyone would like to drop by and put together a bouquet.

Sunflowers- 6 for $10
Zinnias - 50 cents each

We’ll have water and bags that can hold the stems and can be zip-tied.
