One of our own could use the support of this community.
If you’ve been around Big Country very long, chances are you know Jake Renno. He’s often the one pulling into your place with a delivery, putting out liquid feed, or simply showing up to get the job done. No matter how busy the day is, Jake is almost always wearing a smile and ready to help.
Now, we have the opportunity to show up for Jake and his wife, Liz.
Liz suffered a stroke in December and now relies on full-time care. On Monday, August 31, friends, family and members of the community are coming together for a benefit auction to help Jake and Liz during this season.
There will be a barbecue chicken dinner, pie and cake auction, and a great lineup of auction items. Doors open at 5:30 PM at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, with the meal beginning at 6:00 PM.
Jake spends a lot of his days taking care of our customers, and we hope our Big Country family will come together with us to help take care of him and Liz. Please help us by sharing this post, come enjoy a meal, bid on something, or simply help us spread the word. Every bit of support means so much. ❤
