Hickory Manor specializes in breeding and buying/selling hunter-jumper prospects. Our breeding goals aim to produce supreme athletes for any discipline

We aim to produce and offer everything from reliable Childrens/Adult horses to Hunter Derby superstars. Our breeding goals aim to produce supreme athletes, specifically with the hunter/jumper discipline in mind, but with such athleticism that they will excel in any discipline you choose. The foals are raised in a laid-back, healthy atmosphere that promotes socialized and happy future winners. Hand

Welcome to the family, Lemonade vd Eenhoorn (shown as Lemonade WB). By the Zirocco Blue son, Hermitage VDL and out of a Namelus R mare. Lemonade is a truly exceptional mare, racking up 1.50 GP wins in Florida, Kentucky and Brownland just to name a few. It is truly an honor to add this mare to the breeding program, I cannot thank her connections enough for this opportunity. We’ve all already fallen in love with ‘Addie’ and I think she likes our version of farm life too!

Bastion HM (Bandelero JSF/xx) did not disappoint for his Westfalen inspection, scoring multiple 8’s for correctness, gaits and overall impression. This spectacular c**t is the full sibling to event phenom HM Belterra, and I think he’s more than capable of following in her footsteps! Very excited for the future of this exceptional c**t

Official photos and video to come but we had an AMAZING Westfalen inspection with 3 of our foals:

Lexington HM (Lucrative HM x Catcall) owned by Ali Yanek, Premium and Site Champion with an 8.4, including 8.5’s for type, conformation and overall impression , 8.25 for quality of gaits. Warner is the first foal of our homebred stallion and we could not be more proud of this result!

Bastion HM (Bandelero JSF/xx) was a superstar, and even being very butt high scored a 7.9 (missing premium by a tenth of a point!) including 8’s for type, correctness, conformation and overall impression and a 7.75 for gaits (judge was very impressed with his movement considering how butt high he was). This is the full brother to HM Belterra and there’s no doubt Bastion will follow in her footsteps!

Darlin’ (Frosted x Flower Dance), owned and bred by Jennifer Hannan and Gilda Piccoli, was literally born for her moment in the spotlight and did not disappoint! Premium and High Scoring Filly 8.25 with 8.5’s for type, conformation and overall impression and 8’s for correctness and swing/elasticity.

I’m so proud of the babies we are developing here and it is a true honor to represent such amazing quality!

We are hosting Westfalen for our annual breed registry inspection this coming Saturday, August 22. Stallion, mares and foals will be presented starting at 10am and exhibitors are welcome to attend!

Welcome to the menagerie, Masoranta!
By the 1.60 stallion Maserati (Indoctro/Ramiro Z) and out of the 1.60m mare Oranta (Indorado/Nimmerdor). Masoranta herself jumped to 1.50, including countless 1.45 miles with an amateur, showing not just athleticism but a great temperament as well!
Maserati is the full brother to 1.60m stallion Orestus who competed at the 2008 Olympics.
Dam Oranta is the Maternal sister to the famed 1.60 stallion Warrant (v. Numero Uno) as well as Taranta (1.50, v. Lux Z), Garanta (1.45, v. Cardento), Carant Marc Z (1.45, v. Curby du Seigneur), as well as 4 other siblings that jumped 1.30-1.35.

We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to add Masoranta to our breeding program and can’t wait to breed her in 2027!
