So I wanted to make an ultrasound update video to keep you all informed on how our breeding season went. But all I got was bad news, Saturday, 5 of the 9 checked open. But a wise man told me “𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞” and I cannot disagree.

Monday night was a bittersweet goodbye. Loaded up our herd bull and a pair and hauled them off. But bills have to be paid and genetics have to get better.

Took the time to really look at how these bull calves are developing. As of right now I can’t complain, barely 5 months old and they still impress me. I say I’m keeping both as herd bulls, but come fall one might be up for grabs.
