The young lion behind the scene of Mullery Farms 🐄 -who helps feed the animals, cuts wood, keeps our yard cut, takes care of our burn piles, helps me make our Mullery Farm products and labels! and so much more!

In case you have been wondering why I haven’t been at many farmers markets or fall events, this is why! ⬇️

My son zyler started running cross country a couple years ago, a sport I ran in high school (I MOST DEFINITELY DIDN’T RUN LIKE ZYLER.) He absolutely fell in love with it and we haven’t looked back since.  🏃

Cross country events typically occur on Saturday early morning, and take up my evenings too running him to practice 😅

But I absolutely LOVE IT! I love running around after zyler not only because I’m his momma and would do anything for my kids, but because this boy loves his sport with his whole heart so it makes it easy to!

He is making history! Right now my son zyler holds the 2nd fastest freshman 5K in the history of Farmington! 🤯

Not only is zyler killing it, the entire cross country team is!! There are some incredibly talented young men and young woman breaking records and running their heart out!

If you haven’t, I highly encourage you to attend a local cross country meet! It’s the most wholesome experience! And if you are a cross country loving family, hi you are doing incredible, keep chasing after those kids! Because personal records are so fun to watch your kids get!

My son told me, I just wanna break 17min this year, and he did it! I’m so proud of you Zyler!

**A cool fun fact about Zyler, he is a homeschooler!
We are so thankful Missouri passed the law for homeschoolers to attend sports in the district you live in! Or we wouldn’t be able to do this!

Lord, help me remember that these children belong to You before they belong to me.

Help me remember that I am not their owner, but their steward.

You entrusted these precious lives to me, and I pray I never take that responsibility lightly.

When I’m afraid for them, remind me that You love them even more than I do.

When I want to control every outcome, remind me that You already see the beginning, the middle, and the end.

When I’m tempted to worry about who they will become, help me focus on who they are today.

When I don’t have the answers, teach me to pray instead of panic.

When I’m exhausted, give me grace.

When I lose my patience, help me apologize and begin again.

When I feel like I’m failing them, remind me that I don’t have to be a perfect mother because they have a perfect Father.

Lord, let me raise them with open hands.

Help me guide them without trying to control them.

Protect them in the places I cannot reach.

Walk with them when I cannot.

Speak to their hearts when my words aren’t enough.

And when the day comes that they begin walking paths of their own, help me trust You enough to let go.

Because before they were mine, they were Yours.

And they will always be Yours.

Lord, let me never forget that I am simply blessed enough to be their mother for as long as You allow me to hold their hands. 🤍🙏🏻
