After a rough couple of days, I spent the morning in the kitchen creating in silence. GF sourdough bagels and bread, classic white bread for hubs, spice mixes, and more work on tallow products and essential oil blends. I feel somewhat recharged. Spring cannot come soon enough!

A phone call no one ever wants to get. Our barn caught on fire earlier this evening. We are grateful for our neighbors for calling 911 and the Linn County Fire Department for coming out and getting the fire out. Unfortunately we lost half our chicken flock, 5 turkeys and our bunnies; along with countless tools and farm supplies. We are counting our blessings it wasn’t our home. We will keep everyone updated as we look at how to rebuild.
