Worked on patching some fence this morning.

I tend to find everything is a metaphor for life right now.

Is the patch perfect? Nope.

Will it hold? Yep.

Was it hard? Nope

Have I put it off too long because I wanted it to be perfect? Yep

There are lots of places in life where it is easy to let the perfect get in the way of good.

I'm going to focus on moving forward knowing that is better than standing still.

Getting through life is like trying to swim on a windy day... Stop swimming and you'll start going backwards.

Some big news tonight... Life coming back to the farm. These Cattle were born here.... And now they have returned.

Speaking of ponds.

Ours is very low. With no rain events over 1.5", the has been very little run off into the ponds. We are 22" lower than this time last year.

This is the time we count on the ponds filling up.
